1. Services

SENERCON provides third-party HERS ratings, energy code compliance inspections, blower door and duct blaster testing, insulation and installation inspections, ENERGY STAR certification, and related building science services in El Paso, TX and Southern New Mexico. Scope, scheduling, and pricing for each job are confirmed with the builder or client prior to the inspection date.

2. Prepayment Required

All inspection and performance-verification services (including Energy Code Compliance, HERS ratings, ENERGY STAR certification, and related programs) must be paid in full before the requested inspection is performed.

This policy protects the independence and integrity of our inspections. As third-party HERS Raters and Energy Code Inspectors, our findings must remain unbiased and free of any financial pressure tied to the outcome of an inspection. Requiring payment in advance, rather than contingent on results, is consistent with the RESNET HERS Rating Code of Ethics and analogous independence standards recognized by code officials and licensing bodies in Texas and New Mexico.

A single invoice is issued per address prior to the Rough Inspection.
Site plans and floor plans should be submitted before requesting the first Rough Inspection to avoid delays.
Re-inspection invoices are issued at the time of a failed inspection or performance test and must be paid before the re-inspection is performed or a final report is issued.
Final certificates for ENERGY STAR or similar programs will not be issued until services are paid in full and required program documentation (e.g., HVAC contractor checklist) has been received.

3. Payments

Fees payable through this site (including prepayment for inspections, re-inspection fees, and same-day scheduling fees) are processed securely through Wix Payments. By submitting a payment, you confirm that the job address/invoice reference and amount entered are accurate. A receipt will be provided upon successful payment.

4. Refund Policy

Fees for services and inspections that have been performed are non-refundable. Once a SENERCON rater has completed a site visit, testing, or inspection, the associated fee (including re-inspection and same-day fees) is considered earned and will not be refunded, regardless of the outcome of the inspection (e.g., a home passing or failing a test).

If you believe a payment was made in error (e.g., duplicate payment, incorrect amount), contact us at 915-613-4168 or info@senercon.co within 5 business days and we will review and correct the charge.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Same-day inspection fees apply when scheduling is requested for the same business day and reflect the cost of prioritizing and rearranging that day's schedule. Once an inspector has been dispatched or has arrived on site, this fee is non-refundable even if the inspection cannot be completed for reasons outside SENERCON's control (e.g., site not ready, no access).
Re-inspection fees apply when a return site visit is required (e.g., after a failed test or incomplete work at the first visit). This fee is non-refundable once the re-inspection has been performed.
To reschedule or cancel a scheduled but not-yet-performed inspection, contact us as far in advance as possible at 915-613-4168 or info@senercon.co. We'll make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling without an additional fee when notice is given before the inspector is dispatched.

6. Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge or a service performed, contact us directly at 915-613-4168 or info@senercon.co so we can work with you to resolve it before any dispute is filed with your bank or payment provider.

7. Changes to These Terms

SENERCON may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this page.
